  We liked the staff (very, very helpful and courteous), the breakfasts (delicious and satisfying), the location (close to great meals, shopping and entertainment), the comfort (great lounge, furniture and especially the bed). We will be back.....soon!!!

  It was very central to restaurants and sight-seeing locations; it was affordable and had a lovely ambiance.

  The location is perfect and the employees are very gentle.

  The closet and bathroom are very small. If you plan to stay more than 3 days it will be complicated arrange your clothes.

  Every morning we received a basket hung from our room door by 7am and inside you get 4 croissants, different kinds of jam, two orange juice and milk/cream. It's different than the usual continental breakfast. It’s a nice touch.

  The staff was helpful and extremely friendly. The rooms were efficient and modern. Continental breakfasts left in a wicker picnic basket on a hook outside the door were a unique and charming touch. It was conveniently located for shoping and sight-seeing.

  The room I had faced the street. It could be noisy at night but it was a holiday weekend and there were many younger visitors on holiday.

  Fantastic hotel! Superb location that allows you to walk to all the sights in Quebec City. Close to restaurants, shopping. Staff was more than helpful to recommend restaurants and things to do. Comfortable rooms. Quiet rooms, even though on a busy street. Highly recommend this hotel.

  The hotel was in walking distance to all of the atrtractions in the Old City. Kim and Cynthia were delightful. They were very knowledgable about the festival and are to be commmended for their hospiality...Great trip!!!!!!!!!

  We certainly enjoyed our stay at Hotel du Vieux Quebec, and would certainly go again and hope to do so. It is very clean, staff is exceptional (they are bilingual), the place is charming, centrally located to many historical sites and exploring the history of the area was amazing ! We sure would recommend this hotel to others and have. Lots of restaurants around to eat at, everyone in the area, shops, etc., are so friendly. Needless to say we loved our visit to Old Quebec and the stay at this hotel. Oh, breakfast in the A.M., the picnic basket on the door when we got was so great, what a nice idea, we enjoyed it. Good way to start the day. Thanks again everyone !!!

  There is nothing negative to say about this hotel -- it was a great holiday.

  Excellent staff and perfect location. Loved the continental breakfast delivered to your door in the cute little basket. All in all, would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Quebec City.

  The location of the Hotel, right in the centre of the "Old City", was what attracted us to it and when we arrived we found that our choice was the right one to have made. Located just a few metres away from the Basilica, and all the other sites it was perfectly situated. The service given by reception was very good. Romms were comfortable, although ours was rather small, but considering how much we paid for the room it was very good value.

  Kim and Peggy Ann are excellent at there jobs.,,Kim was most helpful and courteous,,always upbeat,,a definite asset,,,as we dealt with her the most during our stay...Peggy ann,,as well. we have told our adult children about the hotel and location...

  One note: there was a party which we all need once in awhile,,late into the evening ,,and the sound carried into our room..it did not last forever.and I do not know how that could be overcome..but I would not discourage anyone from that hotel due to that little inconvenience..tks merci,,it was great

  The best thing I liked about your hotel was your great staff.We do not speak french and they were a big help in guiding us to different things to see and do at the hotel and near the hotel.I also like the free movies and popcorn night policy you have.Thanx for the great time we had at your hotel.   We have stayed there before.....love the loction right on Vieux Quebec...close to shops, restaurants, pubs etc. 0love the old architecture....and the staff is wonderful
